The Public Sector Enhanced HVAC Optimization Program provides smaller public sector facilities help in improving the efficiency of their RTUs and Split Systems. The Program provides a free tune-up of under-maintained RTU’s and Split Systems including a thorough cleaning, new MERV 8 (or customer-desired equivalent) filter, a cogged v-belt and detailed list of re-optimization strategies. The Program also identifies the opportunity for programmable thermostats, better scheduling/setbacks, enthalpy economizing, demand control ventilation and variable frequency drives. When these solutions are viable, SEDAC may be able to implement them either at no cost or highly incentivized. The Program will be implemented by our Approved Trade Allies below from June 1, 2016 – May 15, 2017. This Illinois Commerce Commission approved program is currently accepting applications. Participants are expected to reduce electric use by 10% with the full complement of services. Downloadable Fact Sheet
