Through workshops, webinars, and online learning, SEDAC provides opportunities for energy efficiency professionals to receive the training they need on the latest energy efficiency best practices. We partner with the Illinois EPA Office of Energy to offer Energy Code training for code officials, engineers, architects. We also train students through our internship program and teach courses on building energy systems at the University of Illinois. Our building energy education workshops and courses are offered to architects in Illinois and to community colleges in the US.
We conduct stakeholder outreach and research best practices to recommend ways to grow and diversify the energy efficiency workforce. We've conducted a pilot program in Peoria to help connect people with energy efficiency training programs and jobs.
