We are excited to announce that SEDAC is now known as the EnergySense Resilience Center! In addition, we are joining the University of Illinois System Office of the Vice President of Economic Development and Innovation (VPEDI).
Our organization was founded more than 20 years ago and since then, we have tackled new challenges and diversified our work to face the challenges of energy, climate and sustainability. The EnergySense Resilience Center is a name that better reflects the work we do now, and the work we aspire to do for a more energy efficient and sustainable future. VPEDI is the Illinois Innovation Network’s administrative agent, so EnergySense will now have the opportunity to integrate with IIN’s 15 hubs and extend its reach into all corners of the state as a unit focused on economic development and community impact.
While our name and administrative home are changing, our team, our work and dedication to providing high quality service and support remains the same. In the coming weeks, our name on the website will be updated, but you can still reach us at our existing phone numbers, website address, and email addresses.
Rest assured that our commitments to our partners and clients will not change. We remain dedicated to empowering organizations with practical solutions for climate, energy, and sustainability. This organizational change and alignment with the University of Illinois System will allow us to better serve you in the years to come.
