SEDAC offers energy assessments for public sector facilities in Ameren Illinois territory, at no cost to the customer through the Ameren Illinois Energy Savings Program (the cost of the assessment is reimbursed by Ameren Illinois).

To be eligible for the Ameren Illinois Energy Savings Program, a facility must:

• Be a non-residential municipal corporation, a unit of local government, a community college, or a school district facility.
• Have, for electric projects, an electric delivery service rate of DS3 or DS4 and an Energy Efficiency Programs Charge on the Ameren Illinois electric bill.
• Have, for gas projects, a gas delivery service rate of GDS3 or GDS4 and an Energy Efficiency Programs Charge on the Ameren Illinois gas bill.
• Not have had a previous energy assessment in at least 5 years.
