2021 IECC: Existing Buildings – Commercial

This course covers the 2021 IECC code requirements for Chapter 5: Commercial Existing Buildings. We will review the technical energy efficiency requirements for existing commercial buildings, including how to address the maintenance of buildings in compliance with the code. Building additions, alterations, repairs and changes of occupancy or use will be covered. We will provide project examples and scenarios to address common questions and myths about energy code compliance in existing commercial buildings. This course is designed for code officials, design professionals, and building owners.
