Energy Efficiency and Wastewater Treatment Plants: Live Q&A with SEDAC Engineers

At this live virtual event, participants chatted about energy assessments and energy efficiency at wastewater treatment plants with SEDAC engineers. The session started with a brief presentation about  the benefits of an assessment, how to prepare, and what to expect. Next Greg Pyles, Water Pollution Control Treatment Operations Manager at the City of Moline spoke about his experience with a virtual energy assessment for his facilities. Next, a panel of engineers from SEDAC (the Smart Energy Design Assistance Center at the University of Illinois) answered questions about energy efficiency at wastewater treatment plants.
